TFE to Perform Work at Y-12 Under BOA with Trinity

TFE is a named subcontractor to Trinity Contracting Services Co., LLC (TCSC) on the recently-awarded Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC (CNS) Electrical Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) at the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12) in Oak Ridge, TN. For task orders awarded to TCSC under the BOA, TFE will perform excavation and trucking and supply waste containers and clean fill.

Having highly skilled and trained BOA holders available at a moment’s notice allows CNS to focus resources on strengthening our country’s national security and reducing the global threat from weapons of mass destruction. TFE embraces this opportunity to expand upon our support to the Oak Ridge nuclear community and to contribute to the success of CNS’ mission at Y-12.

Founded in 1989, TFE is a veteran-owned small business with extensive experience providing waste transportation services, records management, training services, and other technical services to government and commercial nuclear clients. TFE has decades of experience within the U.S. Department of Energy complex and has a strong presence in Oak Ridge, holding such contracts as the Waste Transportation and Haul Road Maintenance contract at the East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP).

Formed in October 2012, TCSC is a general and electrical contractor with 45 years of industry experience. TCSC is a small business performing multiple projects with various government institutions. Clients include the DOE Federal Building, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Spallation Neutron Source, Y-12 Uranium Processing Facility (UPF), Nashville and Murfreesboro TN Veterans Affairs, City of Chattanooga, City of Knoxville, City of Oak Ridge, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and many others.
