TFE Celebrates 2.5 Million Safe Hours
TFE celebrates 2.5 million safe hours without any recordable injuries, accidents, or illnesses. TFE commends all employees for their individual commitments to safety that allowed the company to reach this significant milestone. TFE treated employees company-wide to various celebratory events based upon location. TFE's Oak Ridge location celebrated with a picnic and day of fun at Dollywood, encouraging employees to bring their families along, and the Carlsbad location celebrated with a picnic at the Pecos River, renting a bouncy house for the enjoyment of the staff's children and grandchildren.
TFE was founded in 1989 and performs high hazard, highly regulated operations across the Department of Energy complex. TFE is one of the most innovative and successful suppliers of professional, technical, and administrative personnel in the U.S. nuclear energy complex and other commercial ventures. TFE excels in quickly providing the resources that enable our customers to meet their schedules and production requirements. TFE currently provides waste transportation, records storage, records management, training, and environmental service support. We also manage task-based projects specifically focusing on our customer's needs and strategic plans. TFE supports customers nationwide, with major offices in North Augusta, SC; Oak Ridge, TN; and Carlsbad, NM. Additionally, we have satellite offices in other locations throughout the United States. Since our establishment, TFE has grown to a company of approximately 150 employees.
